Monemvasia can easily be considered the hidden gem of real Greece. Lying on the southeast side of Greece, the peninsula of the Peloponnese, it remains substantially undiscovered.

The great rock of Monemvasia is known as the "Gibraltar of Greece", transporting visitors on a dreamlike journey through time and history.

Castle walls, narrow cobbled streets, rich merchants' mansions, dozens of churches, low arches, marble imperial thrones, coats of arms, and Byzantine frescoes give the impression of a fantastic town that has been left untouched by time and leaves no visitor unmoved.

Monemvasia is also the gangway to explore the region of Mani and unfold the scenery that raised the legendary Spartans.
